Once the recruitment process begins and screening is completed, candidates undergo Korean language training at BestWinner’s training center in Vietnam before entering Korea.

Through BestWinner’s interpreter service, both the company and candidate can clearly discuss job details, enabling you to accurately assess the applicant’s intentions and suitability.

The E-7-1 visa is tied to the employer who sponsors and guarantees the worker.
Therefore, a worker cannot transfer to another company without prior approval. If they leave without authorization, both the worker and the sponsoring company may face penalties.
As a result, turnover is extremely rare among E-7-1 workers.

Depending on the workload of immigration officers and the submission date of the required documents, visa screening generally takes about 2 to 3 months from the time of submission.

If the visa is denied due to reasons related to the applicant, the company may proceed to recruit another candidate.

A company can hire one E-7-1 worker per five full-time Korean employees (excluding those earning below minimum wage).
However, companies in mechanical and technical fields may hire up to three workers per establishment.
The company must also have no record of unpaid taxes or labor violations and must be legally registered as a business.

The E-7 visa requires a direct link between the applicant’s academic background and the job field.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:

  • Hold a master’s degree or higher, or

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or

  • Have 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

E-9 visa holders can work in Korea for up to 4 years and 10 months before returning to their home country.
Even if they are outstanding workers, they cannot immediately re-enter Korea, making it difficult for companies to retain skilled employees.

In contrast, E-7-4 visa holders can be continuously employed after at least 2 years of E-9 service, allowing companies to maintain a stable, long-term workforce.

  • Have held an E-9, E-10, or H-2 visa and legally worked in Korea for 4 years or more within the last 10 years.

  • Currently employed and earning at least 2.6 million KRW per month, with 2 or more years of E-7-4-eligible employment.

  • Received a recommendation from the current employer after working 1 year or longer.

  • Achieved at least 200 points out of 300 on the official evaluation system.
    (Applies to candidates residing legally in Korea between Nov 27 2024 and Dec 31 2026.)
    After obtaining the E-7-4 visa, continuous employment and stable Korean language proficiency are also required.
